FOYER INSTALLATION
Pippa Makgill
Archs, surfaces and architectural idiosyracies are drawn on in creating a
responsive installation to this space.
A cultural memory of objects is used to reveal perceptions and
notions of physicality. Forms and objects are playfully bought together
to capture a fluidity though fixed objects and a curiosity of associations.
Pippa Makgill graduated with a BFA from Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland
University in 2004. After working, travelling and exhibiting around
New Zealand for a few years she moved to Melbourne where she is currently
undertaking a MFA by Research at Monash University.
